    Interested in seeing what variation of the corpse mechanic they go with. Either way, back row targeting skills may get some more play.

    Corpses? That was unexpected. So, no forcing melee attacks anymore?

    I’m intrigued to know how exactly that’ll affect current gameplay.

    I assume it’ll just be a cosmetic thing that enemies now have a unique animation for falling over and staying dead instead of just fading away. The corpses may not even take up spaces in line. If they did it would mean enemies that naturally spawn that can’t attack from the back will remain inactive for the entire fights, and close and long range combat will be completely separated and make things over-complicated.

    All that’s left would be the animation for them actually entering combat though, as opposed to expanding out of the floor.

    Bigger font size (on poster) suggests something more important than just cosmetic features, I think.

    The problem with targeting can be solved, I believe. Can’t think of any proper ways – how, though.

    To be honest, I don’t know what I’d liked more – changs to current combat system (like this one, probably) or leaving it alone.

    if it prevents enemy from moving to front after a kill, that will definitively makes the Arba and PD more reliable, along with making the move skills more useful. in the other hand it will make the combats feel more static i guess. we’ll see what will happen.

    i’m very excited about the hound, the new sanitarium and the new diseases anyway 😀

    I’m more concerned with melee and AoE skills behaviour.

    Will that mean that any party without backrow hitters will be doomed by default?

    Giving an incentive to give some thoughts to building parties is good thing, I have to agree. And movement skills would become almost game-changing, which isn’t a bad thing as well (considering they lower move resistances).

    But wouldn’t that be just simply… annoying?

    I hope devs comment on exact workings of this feature.

    It probably got a bigger font size because in general it’s an addition that is extremely basic to the game-play and will be a constant occurrence, so even if it’s only cosmetic it still is quite a significant addition.

    I hope the corpses don’t take up places in line, it’ll make the combat way more tedious and restricted in general.

    I love this game so much! Long waited for the game like this one. A game with a soul. Can´t wait till 15 of July and till final release. Developers make great work. sorry for my english 🙂

    Yeah, “corpses in battle” can mean different things.

    I still hope that devs share with us some insight regarding these promises.

    I noticed there’s no reference to the Cove in the announcement poster. Has the new dungeon been pushed back?
